Due to the increased demand for data use in many education data processes, School Districts are utilizing PowerSchool capabilities to publish data for external data consumption. School Districts publish data through several methods to conform to the requirements of their data consumers —spreadsheet extracts, Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF®), PowerSchool API and/or Web Services.

Whatever the data publishing method, School Districts must ensure that their PowerSchool data publishing processes are efficient and effective, delivering data securely, timely and accurately. This requires data mappings, formats, content, and configurations that comply with each data consumer’s data standards.

dpC for POWERSCHOOL clients realize measurable benefits through:

  • Simplifying and automating the process

  • Enforcing data accountability and governance

  • Reducing the time and cost of error detection and correction
